🥸 About

We built trades.wtf to help investors easily see unique insights into their trading performance. We started off by analyzing your best/worst trades and your best performing open position. Long term we want to be a platform that helps you analyze your portfolio performance.

Check our roadmap below for future plans.

🔒Security & privacy

We do not store any usernames, passwords, or authentication content of any kind on the platform. Your security is your priority.

We partnered with platforms like Plaid to connect to your brokerage securely. Plaid is what's also used by Venmo, Chime, and many more financial apps as well. Read more here.

We highly recommend that you enable 2-factor authentication on every financial app. It's often even required to connect to some institutions (e.g. Robinhood).

On the side, we are working on some ideas to help make brokerages operate like web3.

📊 Stats & Definitions

Note on cost-basis: We assume shares sold on a trade operate in a first-in first-out (FIFO) manner like they do on Robinhood. You can read more about FIFO here.

$$ return =\frac{averageSellPrice - averageBuyPrice}{averageBuyPrice} * numShares $$

Tab Stat Calculation
🤑 Best Trade A single sell-side transaction that maximizes your return. We only include it if the return is positive (gain).
😢 Worst Trade A single sell-side transaction that minimizes your return. We only include it if the return is negative (loss).
💎 Diamond Hand A single open position that has the maximum unrealized (not sold) gain. We always fetch the current price of the equity before performing this calculation.
